Project Manager, Market Execution
Position Summary
Functions include management of full market implementation, utility partner management and team leadership. This position is responsible for managing/overseeing all components of market implementation in alignment with organizational objectives within established scopes, budgets, and timeline metrics. This person will be responsible for utility partner management and will ensure their deliverables meet all project requirements.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Establish market implementation foundation and manage program governance
- Responsible for generating and tracking the Market Execution Plan
- Plan and manage approved projects, program staffing, and other CURRENT resources required for the support of market implementation
- Identify Short-term and Long-term Objectives
- Review and approve schedules, plans, and any requested changes or modifications
- Lead the development of Functional Team Execution Plans in accordance with the Market Execution Plan
- Manage Critical Path including assessing risks and leading resolution paths
- Establish Visibility to Level 1 Milestones; provide weekly Progress Reports
- Establish and report on Metrics/Market Success Indicators
- Establish and maintain the communication strategy for inter and intra company
- Manages utility partner and/or vendor relationships and deliverables
- Oversee Market Sub-Teams providing support for deliverables
- Identify Resource Strategy; manage CURRENT resources and support groups to meet or exceed agreed upon Service Levels and Market Deliverables
- Develop and track Market Implementation Business Forecast Model; responsible for reporting actual to forecast
- Establish and manage the business methods and procedures in accordance with CURRENT and Utility partner requirements
- Responsible for Business Process – Standardized Methodologies including documentation outlining the practices and methodologies and highlighting hand-offs/touch-points for the full life cycle of the market implementation
- Manage Field Trials for new product launches
- Manage Change Control Process for the Market
- Provide escalation management for internal and external teams
Qualifications:
- Candidate must be self-motivated and able to take assignments and drive to completion
- Exceptional communication skills to effectively work with all levels within an organization
- Ability to develop relationships with internal and external resources including remote locations
- Ability to manage remote team resources
- Ability to organize multiple tasks simultaneously
- Ability to work within a dynamic environment and effect productive and timely results
- Candidate must be willing to travel
Education and Experience:
- Bachelors Degree in arts, sciences, business or technical field and/or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 5 years project management experience required.
- Prefer customer management experience
